Ungawabona kanjani ama-obsessions?

Obsessions kuwukuphazamiseka kwengqondo. Zibonakala ngezithombe eziphazamisayo ezivela ngokuphindaphindiwe futhi okunzima ukuzisusa engqondweni. Zingahlotshaniswa nezindikimba ezehlukene ezinjengokungcola, ukungcoliswa, ukuhlambalaza, ubulili noma isiyaluyalu.

Ngezinye izikhathi okubizwa ngokuthi “imibono egxilile” noma “i-obsessive neurosis,” ukukhathazeka kuyaphazamisa, akujabulisi futhi akwamukeleki kumuntu obhekene nakho.

Kunezizathu ezehlukene ezingabangela i-obsessions:

  • Izici ezingokwengqondo nezenhlalo (ukuhlukumezeka okwenzeka ebuntwaneni, izimo ezinzima zempilo, njll.) zingadala ukuthatheka.
  • Kungase kuhileleke izici zofuzo. Izakhi zofuzo ezisiza ukulawula i-serotonin (= i-brain chemical messenger edlulisa amasignali phakathi kwamangqamuzana obuchopho) zingasakazwa.

Ukukhathazeka isikhathi eside kungaholela ku-Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Kuwukusabela kokuziphatha emibonweni, ukuphoqelelwa kanye nokuphikisana nentando yomuntu obhekana nakho.

Ukukhathazeka kungaziveza kubantu abanokuthatheka ngoba bayazi ukuthi banemibono eqondile kodwa akukho abangakwenza ngakho.

Kwabanye abantu, ukuthatheka kuholela enkolelweni yokuthi ukucabangela okuthile kwandisa ingozi yokuthi kwenzeke, okuyinto  kungaba nemingcele kakhulu.
